What is a Flash Technical Audit?
A quick way to evaluate if a startup is getting close to delivering on their promise, on the value they created so far and what it would take for them to get there.
The Flash Audit is the instrument we use to give you a broad perspective on the situation of your investment and identify areas that may warrant a closer look. We scan for risks, red flags and opportunities for improvement around:

product maturity

tech value and how much it would take for the competition to close the gap

team composition and process efficiency
-
roadmap execution effectiveness
We also look at issues that could arrive later and of course, give our recommendation on how to avoid risks or take advantage of opportunities down the road.
Sometimes we are also asked to seek answers to specific questions around IP, potential M&A scenarios or other relevant topics.
When to do it?

Periodically throughout the lifetime of your investment, to evaluate the effectiveness of execution and catch issues early

If you are considering to exit an investment but first you want to have an objective third party to take a closer look of what is under the hood and confirm (or not) your instincts.

If you seek answers to specific questions before you take an important decision.
How do we do it?
These are the steps of our process:

30 min brief meeting where we go over the purpose of the Flash Audit and the questions you seek answers to.

Once you put is in contact with the key people from the Startup you wish to audit, we'll request the startup team to answer a set of preliminary questions that will make the Flash Audit more effective.

After the preliminary questions are answered, we send the Startup team a link to book a 1hr 30 min time-slot for the actual Audit.

Once the audit date is set, we send to our client and Audit requestor a link to reserve a time-slot for the restitution meeting - 30 min. This will take place after 2-3 days after the audit.

Restitution meeting: we deliver the audit report, including our recommendations and answer any questions you may have. At this stage we may discuss potential follow-up actions like taking a deep dive to investigate a certain area or help the Startup team in other ways.
How much it costs?
The price is 975 € + VAT
Depending on the situation, the fee may be paid by the requestor VC, the Startup or shared between the two.
